What is the meaning of the gaze? What kind of facial expression is for watching? What kind of body language can we see?

 

I have collected old pictures from articles, newspapers and magazines which show people and children were watching optical phenomena before the invention of photography. 

These pictures had very low quality. However, I could use the enlarged fragility of the poor quality.

Then, I have made enlarged ink drawing from the faces and gestures while the surrounding environment has been cut off.
